#1 - Make sure you received the New York State Department of Transportation "Blue Book". This has all you rights & responsibilities, as well as your carrier. This MUST be provided to you (at no cost), before you move. If you don't get one, call a ask!

#2 - The more you move, the more your cost. Plan a Garage Sale or donate items to reduce moving items you don't want or need. Don't forget to return borrowed items back to your neighbors.

#3 - Pack your boxes for the rooms you have in your new place. Do you have more, less or same rooms?

#4 - Have a plan for flammable & perishables items. We can't move them.

#5 - In-home estimates are 90% more accute. Over the phone or internet estimates can be off by 50%. Your $400 estimate, could be $800.00!!
