Local Move

A local move is within 150 miles from door-to-door. Most of the time, these moves are completed in one day. You may want to schedule a packing day before your move date, if you have many boxes. This move is "hourly based." You are charged an hourly rate from start to finish.

How do local moves work?

- On your move day, we meet you at your home. You set the time, although the earlier the better.

- Upon arrival, you will sign the "Request of Order" & "Service Order". This allows us to move your items & records the start time.

- Workers begin professional packed/wrapped your items and move them to the truck. We don't charge extra for disassembling, reassembling, bubble or blanket wrapping. Great care is taken to insure you item are NOT damaged.

- After loading the truck, we double check to ensure we have all items you need to more and lock the truck. You items remain safe & secure for movement to your new location.

- Upon arrival at your new local, we begin unpacking/unwrapping your items and move them into your new home. We will reassemble any item we disassemble.

- Time stops when we move all item into your home & reassemble all items needed.

- You are billed for the time taken to complete your move, materials used (if any) plus travel time (time required to return to our office).

- You may pay by Cash, credit card (Visa/Master Card), Money Order or Bank Certified Check.
